The Meadowlark Inn

My friend and I stayed over the weekend for a festival close to Cooperstown. I just want to say our experience at The Meadowlark was 10/10. Austin (the owner) is great and extremely helpful! We did hear that Austin makes a mean waffle breakfast, unfortunately we were not able to witness this. BUT it is absolutely on the checklist for our next stay. The location of The Meadowlark was perfect for our destination and actually in a very quiet area. I absolutely would recommend staying here, we will be back!

The Meadowlark Inn is a diamond in the rough.|My wife and I agree that we probably would have driven past it ( in fact we did even though we were looking for it) as it's a pretty unassuming little place and we are generally chain hotel people. We were coming from the east end of upstate NY and were heading to Cooperstown so we wanted something fairly close and since we are procrastinators most places were booked. We saw the reviews and decided to call. Fortunately there was a room available and we took it. So glad we did. We decided to stay two nights to do Cooperstown one day and the Rail Riders the next.||Austin, the owner, made us feel welcomed and was happy to help with any questions we had. Our weekend visit for a nearby music festival was amazing. The Inn has a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere that helped us relax immediately. We loved our room with a sliding door to the huge backyard with swings, other seating and games. Austin made us waffles with Nutella for breakfast (other options available) that were delicious. Highly recommend this spot!

The Meadowlark Inn is like a home away from home! Your stay is full of beautiful views, new friends, good times, and great sleep! The innkeeper works to integrate local businesses into breakfast and other conveniences provided! Austin gives great local recommendations and works hard to make your stay amazing!! I will definitely be coming back soon :)

The Meadowlark Inn is amazing! It is way more than a hotel--it is an unforgettable experience! With very comfortable and spacious rooms it is a great place to relax and recharge. The homemade waffle breakfast with fresh berries and homemade maple syrup made breakfast something to look forward to The inn also has so many things to do- baseball, ping pong, ax throwing, hammocking to name a few. There is a covered pavillion with picnic tables and bbq grills. Lots of beautiful scenery and things to do in the area. Delicious local food options! This would be an amazing place to host a family reunion or to stop by for a day or two. And best of all the Innkeeper rocks!
