The Manor House Inn

My fiancé and I stayed a night and had the entire manor to ourselves. The innkeepers were very accommodating and we were able to arrange a late night check-in with some coordination and ease. The home is impeccably restored, it feels like you are walking into the past. Any of us could be the Route 66 travelers from its glory days. We stayed in a lovely room on the first floor, the kitchen, bathroom sundries, and general amenities were well-stocked. We wanted for nothing. We slept great here too, and it was frankly a nice perk that this is the only inn in the state where the innkeepers do not live on-site. The privacy was nice. My wife and I celebrated our 6th anniversary this weekend, and stayed at Manor House Inn. I couldn’t recommend this place more! It was an easy 3 hour drive from our home in Shawnee, KS. We stayed Thursday night through Sunday morning. There is so much to do in the area. From the start, the hospitality from Michelle was very genuine. We could very much tell she wanted to make sure we had a great anniversary weekend. She provided several great recommendations on things to do, where to eat, and what not to do (like lock yourself out on the patio…), and was available via text. This is our second opportunity staying at The Manor House Inn. This time was for our son's wedding. We rented the entire house for us and our friends. We all had a wonderful time playing games, reminiscing and laughing. The Manor House Inn is always meticulously clean and the hosts love providing the small details. Don't miss out on eating at The Elm Street Eatery also. It is fantastic!

We had an outstanding evening, night, morning here. Everything clean, orderly, functional. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. It's totally true to the photos and info on their website. Will definitely stay here again next time through central MO!

My husband and I have stayed here two times now. First time was for our wedding night and second time was last weekend! Amazing people, wonderful location, beautifully decorated, AND amazing breakfast. We will always chose the Manor to stay at for a mini getaway.
