The Madison House

Spent two nights here and I was pleasantly surprised. As a woman traveling solo, I was a bit worried about the security of an arrangement like this, but I felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. The room was cozy and clean, the bathrooms and kitchens were spotless, it was nice and quiet as well. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in Minnesota :)

The best ever I come back every year when changing my lease for my aprt I stay two weeks tops , sandy she is the best and mike also there amazing the keep the house on point . Love the smell the rooms the quality , feel at home away from home

this wasn’t clear to me when i was booking: it’s cooperative living. you get a room and share a bathroom with other guests. during my stay, that bathroom was VERY clean. surprisingly so. there are two floors, each with a communal kitchen. i really enjoyed staying here. the location is really good: close enough to the water and breweries. it’s in a safe neighborhood (i was driving across the country w a full car). if you’re looking for a cheap stay in minneapolis, i recommend this place.

This is the greatest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, especially on a college budget where me and my friend from South Dakota met up. What a phenomenal place to be for the weekend!

Wonderful place! Clean, I loved everyone there, perfect location, way cheaper than any big box motel. It's more of a nice air BNB than the name suggests, The Madison might leave people thinking they are getting something like The Radisson but think more along the lines of a nice big house with 9 bedrooms The bad reviews posted are bunk imo, all along the lines of "one particular random person also staying there left a mess that wasn't cleaned up till someone reported it or caretakers noticed! Terrible place!" Go pay twice as much for a super 8 motel if a nice clean house that is fully cleaned at least once a day isn't good enough for you. My stay was absolutely wonderful
