The Lodges at Breezy Point

I was excited for my first trip to Breezy Point and booked through timeshare company that manages several units. While the view from my room was incredible, that's where it ended. I could barely open the patio door to enjoy the view and the decking was in desperate need of repairs, I didn't feel safe on it. Inside the unit needed major updating as there was wallpaper torn off the walls in the upstairs bedroom. The bathrooms were so dated, they probably were clean but didn't appear to be because they were decades old. The staff at the office was not friendly or made me feel welcome at all. Super disappointed as I was hoping for a great little vacation experience. The main clubhouse/restaurant/gift shop was nice and updated and the staff at those places were great. This was supposed to be our one big vacation of the year, and it was completely ruined. We booked a two-bedroom lake view apartment, drove 24 hours to get there, and only when we arrived did we learn that check-in wasn’t even at the resort but at some off-site location. No one tells you that ahead of time, and by the time we finally figured it out, it was late and we were exhausted. What we walked into was nothing like what we paid extra for. Instead of a lake view, our room was inside a hot, steamy building right next to the noisy indoor pool. The walls were paper thin, the unit was outdated, and the shower was clogged. It felt more like being stuck in a run-down motel than the relaxing resort experience that was advertised. When we reached out for help, we were told to wait for the man
