The Lodge at Cypress Falls

I like the vibe of the place and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The swimming hole is super cool too. But, the walls are paper thin, they have quiet hours, but they are not enforced, like at all. We stayed two nights, and both nights I was woken up at 1 am by loud drunk people in the hallway, someone even knocked on our door, and I ended up having to go out there and tell them to quiet down, you can hear EVERYTHING. It’s dog friendly and there was constantly a dog barking. There are no amenities included in the room, the tv barely worked, only two plugs in the room which were already occupied by the lamp and tv, AC is controlled by the front desk. 1. The beds are very old full size, but sheets are clean. The comforter was nice and clean. The throw blankets and pillow were dirty.|2. The rooms are VERY small with interesting antiques. You will stub your toe getting to the bathroom and you can't hardly open the closet door because the door hits the bed.|3. The bathroom is TINY and does not have wall plugs and was dirty, broken towel rod, weak water pressure. No tub, shower only.|4. The curtains do not cover the window, and you have no privacy. The curtains therefore do not block out any of the early morning light either.|5. It took forever to get warm water... I mean about 4 minutes... and then it was great, very hot... but only got a drizzle in the sink, shower water pressure was okay. There is no countertop in the bath for get

My mom and I stayed for one night and we had the best time! The neighborhood is quiet. Yes, some guests may be loud. We did hear a few door slams but that is about it! Doesn’t have thermometers in the room for you to control but we knew that going in and brought a small fan and heater just in case. Has a bar with food right next door so that was a plus from us! Overall we had a good time and hoe to be back!

This place is so magical! We got upgraded to the cabin due to a midweek slump & the cabin is so cute!! There's a beautiful clean pool on site, a pizza parlor, a bar & tennis courts. The bar is hopping on Thursday night! Perfectly nestled in wine country. There are also whiskey/vodka/sotol distilleries close. I can't forget the bar & restaurant down the hill connected to lcf. Swimming/kayaking available in the creek also.

We spent three days at the lodge and had such a great time! The location makes it! Free entry into the swimming hole (get there early to get a parking spot and table in shade) which was fantastic. The pool was clean and plenty of seating. Fire pit where they offer free smores at night for the kiddos. Great food on location as well with the tavern & pizza spot. Service is fantastic, front desk is so friendly as well as the other guests on the grounds. Yes the rooms could be better for this is the best bang for your buck.
