The Litchfield Inn

Really lovely Inn with a delicious breakfast and comfortable bed. We stayed in the winter so we did not take advantage of any thing outdoors, though an on-property walking trail would be welcome. The breakfast/service staff were amazing! We enjoyed the snacks and beverages, comfortable gathering spaces with fireplaces, and board games everywhere. Driving distance to Litchfield and Bantam. Our room was simple but cozy. I would recommend it!

The Litchfield Inn will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We were married here a year and a half ago, and this weekend we were lucky enough to be invited back for a Valentine’s pop-up dinner. From the very beginning, my husband and I loved everything about this inn. We rented out the entire property for our wedding weekend, hosting our welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception all in one place. Our vision for our wedding was very Father of the Bride...something homey, warm, and authentic. I had come here for a wedding recently and it was a nice venue. Field a bit dated, but they seemed to have been going on some renovations to update things around the hotel. The location was very nice, but since I was here for a wedding, I can't say if it is well located for other things. The quality of the sleep was good, and you can tell they tend to get a bit high level hotel guests so you don't have too many people running around wild or anything like that. The staff was very polite and helpful at all times.

It's a very nice hotel if you want to visit the country side of CT.

I have not stopped raving about this place since the moment I stepped inside. Everything about it is stunning. You get the quaint cozy, feeling of Litchfield, CT but with an incredibly modern flair. There is so much attention to detail-this is no cookie cutter hotel. From the massive stunning dried centerpiece hanging from the entryway chandelier, to the roaring fires and classic boardgames (of course discreetly packaged) in the cozy sitting rooms - the entire experience is exceptional. The furniture, the paint colors, the florals - everything is special and extraordinary. We came to ski and plan to return to this hotel for all of our ski adventures going forward. HIGHLY recommend!
