Belden House & Mews

This is a truly amazing property and a perfect hotel stay. To start, the gathering/communal spaces are very well designed but still very cozy. You can take a drink or bite or read a book in any of the various nooks - almost all of which have a fireplace. ||Like their sister property, Troutbeck, the staff is out of this world. They are kind and informative and helpful. Truly 5 star. I forgot to pack my snow brush for the car and the hotel staff procured one for me within minutes.||Another reviewer commented on the beds and I would like to echo that they are the best hotel beds I have ever slept on. ||I stayed in the main house and my room was gorgeous - very clean and comfortable . It was snowing outside and I barely left the room during my entire two day stay - just a lovely place to hiber

I had an incredible stay at Belden House. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the warmest hospitality. The interior design and bathhouse are what brought me here. The lighting levels are perfect throughout, and I felt like the luckiest gal having double fireplaces in my suite, along with a real desk to work at. Be sure to eat at the restaurant. It’s beautiful and cozy with an inventive menu, and the waitstaff was super attentive. For dinner, I highly recommend the endive salad with golden kiwi and macadamia and the agnolotti with pistachio and Aleppo pepper. For breakfast - loved the apple butter and pistachio toast and a perfectly made cappuccino. I thoroughly enjoyed the bathhouse and had a totally private and excellent sauna/steam and gym session. Overall - a highly memorable

I stayed at Belden House for a corporate retreat. My room was a beautiful and spacious suite. Loved the Frette slippers and other luxurious details, but missed having a little fridge. The gym was stunning and I had it all to myself on a weekday morning. The food was excellent, and the restaurant and bar were elegantly decorated. What stood out to make the stay most enjoyable was the service - staff went above and beyond to make it a comfortable stay!

Absolutely wonderful. If you’re looking to relax and restore your energy the Belden house is the place. Convenient to all. We walked to town and restaurants. It was close to all places of interest. The staff were very accommodating, warm and welcoming. The service was above board. Our suite with a balcony felt like home. The entire atmosphere of the inn was superb. Would highly recommended!

Enjoyed an amazing dinner here with my father. The food is crafted with the same love and attention that their staff provides to the guests. The entire property is beautiful with every amenity one could hope for. We could not have been happier with our evening, so do yourself a favor and book a reservation as soon as possible!
