The Lantern Resort

Stayed at the Motel for two nights. We are a family of 4, kids are 10 and 13. Stayed in a room with two queen beds. We also brought an air mattress because the siblings no longer want to sleep in the same bed. Room was big enough to add it. Super clean room, comfortable beds, AC working well. Front desk staff was wonderful every time we saw them. They have a great store with camping gear, food, merch and firewood. Two pools- one has shallow area for littles and the other is quite big. They had cute activities every evening for families. While we stayed at the motel our friends were in a camper and they have been coming here for years and love it! It’s a really well done place to stay. We enjoyed ourselves!!

Stayed just before 4th of July. Location is great if visiting Santa’s Village just across the road but there is a lack of restaurants nearby; you’ll have to drive 15+ minutes to find somewhere to eat and options are limited. The room appeared clean but the strong smell of urine from the bathroom suggested otherwise. The air conditioner made the room feel very damp. We woke up feeling as though we had slept in a tent outside; bedding felt like a damp sleeping bag in the morning. We stayed two nights but considered leaving early. The two pools were great, the grounds were very well maintained, and staff were friendly.

This place was awesome!! As soon as we got there, we loved every part! They gave us free slushy vouchers, and the room was super clean, and looked great! Free breakfast in the morning too!!

This location worked out very well for us. We went to Santa's Village, walking pathway right across from the motel parking lot. It was also fairly easy to get to Storyland as well. Our daughter and son-in-law stayed in the motel while we were in our camper. This is such a great opportunity for utilizing both types of accommodations. The staff was so very nice, polite and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept up. The camping site was large; grassy but with enough trees to offer shade. Two pools including a kiddie pool for our grandson, as well as a playground. We would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking to explore this area of NH. We plan to stay there again next year.

Great place to stay when visiting Santa Village in winter or summer. During the summer they have lots of activities for the kids.
