The Lakehouse Hotel

I had my wedding recently at a nearby wedding venue. We chose The Lakehouse Resort to do our room block since it was decently priced and their photos looked nice on their website. Our wedding was a destination wedding so I was not able to view the site until after securing the room block since they kept emailing me about locking in the “room block price.” When I was finally able to visit and see it, I wasn't that impressed. It's giving inn or motel with a paint job vibes but I thought they gave us a decent room block price. However, this was BEFORE I realized that they gave us an "average" per night price. I used to go here often as a little kid back then when my dad worked here. This place holds a special place in my heart. I made a lot of memories here back in the 2010s. Good times!

Very clean, spacious rooms in a country setting. Excellent food, courteous staff. I was there for a shabbos retreat and it was nice. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but it was very nice. I would definitely come back.

Amazing experience! Wide variety of food at every meal and everything tasted delicious. Daily room cleaning service was great. The kids loved the pool and daycamp!
