The Jeffersonian B&B

Highly recommend this B&B if you are in the area. We had a wedding nearby and Helen attended to our every need, making us feel better than at home. Each room is immaculate, with period furnishings but all the modern touches you need like good wifi and cable. Breakfast was terrific, bacon and eggs, pastries, bagels, and coffee was available 24/7. We stayed at this bed and breakfast for three nights and found it very comfortable. We found the owner, Helen, to be very friendly and helpful, with many suggestions on what to do in the area.|It has seven good sized bedrooms, of which five are en-suite, two sitting areas, a dining room and a large kitchen. We were the only guests at the time and had the whole place to ourselves and Helen was happy for us to use the kitchen facilities had we wanted to. I have to say that the breakfast Helen laid on really set us up for the day!|At the top of the house is a large room with a pool table and a large screen TV with two settees so ideal if staying with family.|Our primary reason for being in the area was to visit Bethel Woods Centre for the Arts, which is just a fifteen minute drive away, but w

Stayed here with friends for our 40th High School reunion and loved it! Beautiful house with 7 rooms with private baths. Great continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, waffles, fresh bagels and doughnuts. There's an antique billiards table on the third floor. Next time we should rent the whole house! It was very clean, lovely furnishings and comfy bed. A/C AND CABLE TV

We stayed at this wonderful Bed & Breakfast last weekend and we were very pleasantly surprised. We were attending an event at the nearby Bethel Woods Center. The Jefersonian was clean, comfortable and classy. It is filled with old style charm and the rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast, which was prepared and served bt the owner Helen, was fantastic! I can't say enough about this place.....a real treat!

Our kids go to camp in Hancock, New York and we were lucky to have found the Jeffersonian several years ago. It is our 'go to' place for visiting weekends! The place is comfortable and clean - not something you'll find at other options in the area (we've learned the hard way...). Helen, who runs, the B&B, is terrific. There is a comfortable living room and sitting room and wi-fi. And a great spread for breakfast; while not a hot meal, there are many options to choose from (fresh fruit, fresh muffins, rolls and donuts, cereals, yogurts, etc. And very good coffee, which never runs out. You can walk to the town of Jeffersonville, or take a walk up the mountain across the way past several farms. It is also close to Bethel Woods.
