We had a great experience. The bartender was super friendly, made wonderful cocktails and gave us some great suggestions for things to do in town. The chef did a fantastic job. The space was cute, cozy and very clean. My dog loved running freely outside. I truly enjoyed the heated pool it was great and I braved the cold cold weather but the pool was wonderful. I look forward to booking with them again.
Grounds are cool and it provides a different boutique vibe. Fire in back with little smores kits is a nice touch. We really liked this and used it. The rooms are old style. Almost like a farmhouse from the 1800s. Shower and bathroom are great. The tub is behind the bed which is odd but odd doesn’t bother me. It’s a pretty cool design. Someone had an imagination and it works. They have a record player with records for you to play. And not crap ones. Good ones. Sinatra! The design is purposeful and genuinely cool. This doesn’t look like a Marriott and that’s a compliment. It’s unique and funky. |For $373, I can hear almost every single word the room next to me says, what their TV is playing and right now I’m listening to them “enjoying their night”. It’s astonishing walls can be this thin
My fiancé and I had a fabulous weekend getaway from the city. The hotel was adorable and perfect for a simple weekend. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff was nice and the other guests were fine. The pool outside and the sauna were great. The drive was close to towns with lots to do like in Livingston Manor and Jeffersonville and Roscoe. We went during a snow storm which was fine but getting to and from the hotel was a bit challenging. So be mindful of this when driving. The service was pretty good but it’s quiet. No new towels or making of the beds day to day- things like that. It’s quaint! The bar wasn’t open for a drink on Sunday evening- things like that. If you want an easy and quiet- mostly self serviced get a way- this is the place for you! Only one couple had brou
I stayed here recently and really enjoyed the big tub offered in my room. The shower was clean and the bed was nice. However, there were a few issues in the lack of basic amenities in the room. No microwave, plates or utensils were provided, despite there being a mini fridge. Which implies a need for food and beverage storage. I stayed for a couple days and brought my own food. I did not anticipate going out for every meal. I wanted to save money and bring some of my own stuff. I inquired about a microwave, which was in the kitchen area of the hotel. Not a big deal to go downstairs, but considering the conditions were not great outside, it wasn’t always possible to run out to the lobby. The walkways were very icy. Also, the garbage provided was extremely small. Housekeeping never came d
Rooms are clean and staff was very nice. I think the rooms are over priced for what is offered (we had everything we needed-your basic hotel room). The place is nestled in a pretty, quiet spot in the woods. There are fire places and a pool. Breakfast is included.
