The Inn on Whitworth

This is truly one of the best places I have ever stayed. Not because it is lavish or opulent, because it is a wonderful experience and the Inn keepers are wonderful people. The rooms are great and well kept. The decor is very tastefully done, and the breakfast bar (stocked with good food all day long,) is wonderful. I must add that it has an open stock refrigerator that has fruit and assortment of drinks and snacks. It is open 24 / 7. It is hard to explain how comfortable this place is. When I checked in in the evening the food counter that night had great cheese cake and carrot cake as well as donuts and cookies. Visiting Brookhaven this weekend for 8 year old all star baseball state tournament and were totally surprised with this gem in the downtown area. The building renovation was done quite well, our stay was extremely comfortable, and quite special. Breakfast was over the top. But we were especially impressed by the hospitality shown by the host. Thank you Sallie and staff for anticipating and cheerfully meeting our every need.

Stayed 3 days at their Storm Lofts adjacent property while in town for business. Wonderful place in heart of downtown surrounded by nice shops and restaurants. Comfortable, very clean accommodations and the most gracious and helpful folks operating it. Very well-appointed, offers everything you could need from amenities to nice breakfast and complimentary snacks. 10/10 recommend.

Love staying here with my family. Especially enjoy breakfast on the weekends. You don't want to miss Shante Johnson's delicious grits and warm hospitality! It's like she is feeding you out of her own kitchen. You will be happy you stayed here!

This was one of the most memorable stays at a hotel. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The area is very quaint and rural, off the beaten path of just off the highway which is exactly what we were looking for. I couldn't have asked for better service and quality, especially for the price. We hope to one day return on our travels to the gulf and stay here. The only thing that I was not happy with was that we could hear people talking in the room next to us and watching their TV at a very loud volume until 2AM. They may have been hard of hearing but the noise made it hard to go to sleep.
