We went for dinner at the inn. As a group with a food and beverage background we were excited for the experience. Unfortunately it was underwhelming from a service standpoint. When we arrived early we planned to go have a drink at patty o’s bar. Sadly it was closed even though it said it was open online. Once seated in the restaurant I was looking through the wine list and was immediately greeted by the sommelier. He immediately directed me to the page in the book of magnums, bottles beginning at $600 and ending at 25k. Our group had a bmmix of tastes and two who do not drink alcohol, so we opted to start with cocktails and then order wine by the glass for those who wanted to partake. That was it, it felt like it set off a warning to the staff, glasses were left empty all night, I had to c

Worth the drive, beautiful scenery and charm. Quiet and quaint location, away from the hustle and bustle. I loved the old style charm of the street, buildings and interior of the restaurant. Service was A1 from start to finish. Flavors blend effortlessly and are very fresh. Plating is beautiful with perfect timing of each dish. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable of the menu, history and area. Went for the upgraded option to add on the caviar dish and it did not disappoint, loved the cucumber salad that accompanied the caviar and miniature toast bites.

I can’t even begin to describe the magic of the Inn at Little Washington. We dined this year on Valentines as a getaway for us, a baby moon of sorts, as I was nearly 9 months pregnant. It was a four hour experience in which we felt like we were attending a show, where every moment was a new bite of food and each bite was the most delicious bite we had ever tasted. It was only our second visit to a Michilen restaurant and I was not sure about the pretension we may notice. Well, there was absolutely none what so ever. We had the best time. Truly. Perfection!

A luxurious stay from beginning to end. The accommodations were incredible, little surprises around every corner and the food was delectable from the afternoon tea, cocktails in the lounge, dinner (this dinner was next level. They have 3 Michelin stars for a reason), and breakfast the next morning. The staff are incredibly attentive. The attention to detail is on par with Sherlock Holmes. We went for my dad’s birthday and the staff made it a special and unforgettable experience. We had a hand written birthday card waiting in the Claiborne house and personalized menus. If you want a luxurious getaway, I can’t recommend this hotel and restaurant enough. Chef Patrick and his team and are always creating and moving upward. I was here about 18months ago and they’ve already added/improved variou

Finally ate dinner here! Inn is one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever seen… the staff and service are absolutely top notch. Overall a fine experience. The biggest let down was the food. It felt like an amalgamation of every Michelin cuisine in the book and the result is tasteless and tired… too many custards… too little protein… annoyed to have paid 2k for this… don’t mind paying but we expected a bit more… if you’re in the DMV area best bet is The Dabney or Rose’s Luxury… they are the epitome of food obsession and continue to push boundaries… Little Inn now feels like a money-making expedition that left food and its culture behind.
