Mint Cottage at Little Washington

This cottage in Little Washington is so charming, beautiful and absolutely was the perfect setting for a getaway weekend that included dinner at Inn At Little Washington. The location is rural but convenient to Main Street, and our stay was so peaceful. The owners were gracious and incredibly responsive to communication. There was literally nothing missing from Mint Cottage that we could need during our stay. I would recommend it a million times over!

This is “The Place to Stay” in Little Washington, VA! Hosts have renovated down to a tee and thought of every detail and amenity to make your stay delightful. Loved this cottage and it’s decor and ease of in and out. A whole house to yourself, far better than a hotel room. Hated to leave!

Mint Cottage is a revelation. When we walked in, my wife said, "Can we just move in and live here?" Beautifully designed with many thoughtful touches, comfortable, functional and relaxing. Added bonus: stay here and really get to know the town of (Little) Washington, Virginia -- take a walk and see a charming town entirely separate from its famous restaurant. Very few things are worth paying a lot for -- this is most definitely one of them!

Mint Cottage is an absolute gem – a superb base for a visit to Shenandoah National Park or the Inn at Little Washington! It’s the perfect home away from home – spacious and beautifully decorated with a luxurious bath and well-equipped kitchen. It's the perfect blend of privacy and convenience, offering a peaceful and quiet location that is just a short walk or drive to town. In addition to being easy and responsive, the hosts have also thought through every detail for a comfortable stay -- providing many thoughtful amenities that will leave you feeling pampered and relaxed. The Inn is certainly lovely, but without question we’d prefer to book Mint Cottage for future visits to the area.

Wonderful experience is an understatement! The hosts were communicative, welcoming and generous and the home was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Just down the street from the Inn at Little Washington, Patty O’s and shopping. Perfect accommodations to get ready for a special evening with a large dressing closet with great lighting and a decked out bathing suite. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a cozy place for family time or even time to yourself I highly recommend this property.
