The Inn At Castle Hill

Such a special experience staying at Castle Hill. We stayed for three nights in the Tatiana Room and loved how intimate our entire stay was. It was lovely to become familiar with other guests coming and going, to take walks around the expansive property during sunset, to chat daily with the innkeepers. We were appreciative to get great personal recommendations for restaurants and shopping nearby, all from local staff members. We especially enjoyed our afternoon cocktails on the porch and the warm fires in the living room at night. The room itself was quite spacious, the bed and linens were out of this world comfortable, and toiletries were similar quality to the ones we use at home. We had an AMAZING experience at Inn at Castle Hill. The rooms were clean and well kept. On our first night there staff overheard me talking about my gluten allergy and when we went to go get coffee, I was pleasantly surprised to see cookies made that were gluten-free just for us! This gesture meant the world to me! They also ensured I had gluten free muffin Available for breakfast. The chef special was delicious and breakfast was also amazing! We are members of trustees and will absolutely be back again! 5 star all around!

Beautifully appointed rooms. 24 hour hot beverage in pantry with high quality tea and coffee. High quality breakfast included. The inn has no elevator (3 floors) and one accessible room in the first floor. The heating was a little too strong for me.

Beautiful, cozy, friendly, peaceful and historic; I didn’t want to leave! There’s access to expansive Crane Beach with the softest sand, big dunes and lovely ocean as well as the grand estate with period furnishings, formal gardens, and fabulous out-buildings - so much to see and do. |The breakfast is delicious and sitting on the porch, lawn, or living rooms is perfectly relaxing.

Been staying at the inn since it's opening and return as often as possible each year. Staff is wonderful seeming like family members concerned for our comfort. We grew up in the area and going to the inn is going home in the most comforting of ways - besides, you will find no better fried clams on the planet than those found in Essex and Ipswich!
