When we arrived after a long travel day from the east coast, we checked in at the front desk and went to bed early because we were exhausted. At 12:30 AM we were startled awake hearing other guests repeatedly trying to open our door. We then got two calls from the front desk saying they showed our room was vacant and asking us questions about why we were in the room (that they assigned us/gave us keys for). It was hard to get back to sleep. We spoke to the manager in the morning who did comp our destination fee charges for this “glitch” in their system. However, then our room keys didn’t work (because they had given room keys to the other guests) so we got locked out of our room. And then again the day of checkout, we were charged for over $120 of incorrect room charges (including $90 of

Although it is located on Hollywood Boulevard, which is always crowded with tourists, the inside of the hotel has a completely different atmosphere from the outside, and has a charming historic atmosphere that would have made Marilyn Monroe fall in love. Perhaps the biggest advantage that sets this hotel apart from other hotels is the ability to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and enjoy the leisurely atmosphere of a resort right in the city. Of course, the in-room dining experience is also a bonus, offering a relaxed dining experience with the ambiance of a fancy restaurant.

The location is right on the walk of fame, but this very is noisy and sketchy- not a good place to base yourself. I did regret staying here and choosing this hotel. The hotel itself is a lovely and historic building- the pool is nice and relaxing and the beds comfy but the bad outweighed the good. I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights each and they both had the same issues: aircon too noisy to keep on during the night, could not open window for air due to noise outside, Toilet kept flushing unless the lever was flicked back into the perfect position, combo bath/shower had too much pressure so bath would fill whilst showering and take very long to drain, phones would not make local phone calls even after several attempts to input the correct codes, TV would turn off during the day whilst watching,

We had an amazing stay at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the history — it’s classic Hollywood glamour in the best possible way. The atmosphere alone makes this place special.||Our room was great — beautifully done with thoughtful details that made it feel both stylish and comfortable. Everything felt intentional and elevated, not generic hotel bland.||One thing we really loved was how much there is to do right on the property. The offerings and experiences throughout the hotel did not go unnoticed — it genuinely feels like a destination, not just a place to sleep.||The portraits and historical touches throughout the hotel were such a nice detail and really added to the old-Hollywood charm. Walking the halls felt like stepping into another era.|

My partner and I booked a cabana balcony room to celebrate our honeymoon (which we told the staff via the portal which specifically requests to know if celebrating a special occasion). When we arrived to check in, we were told that the card used for booking was a card ending in numbers that did not match the actual card we used for the booking (per the confirmation email and the bank statements). They stated they would refund that amount and charge the stay and deposit on the card presented at check in (which was the SAME card used to book) and checked us in. We got to the room and it was shockingly unclean (water marks on all surfaces from drinks, dusty, poorly and cheaply appointed - the lighting along the inside edge looked worse than a dorm room). The toilet was the style you’d find in
