⭐☆☆☆☆ One star||I booked this motel expecting basic, clean accommodations and unfortunately had a very different experience. Upon arrival, the room had visible roaches, which is completely unacceptable and a serious health concern. This is not a minor inconvenience, it made the room uninhabitable.||I contacted the booking platform immediately, but the property was unresponsive and unwilling to take accountability for the condition of the room. Cleanliness is the bare minimum, and this stay did not meet even that standard.||I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. I would not stay here again.

⭐️ Misleading, unsafe, and not as advertised I don’t typically stay in motels, but I booked this property to save money, as nearby hotels were either similarly priced or more than double the cost. I understood this was a budget, remotely operated motel and adjusted my expectations accordingly. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned behind furniture, and the bathroom window had no lock at all. Even more concerning, the front door did not feel secure and appeared as though it may have been kicked in or damaged at some point, which immediately raised safety concerns. The deciding factor was discovering a sticky bug trap behind a dresser containing a dead German cockroach. We chose this listing because it was advertised as non-smoking and safe, which was important for our family. That was not our experience. On the second night, the room smelled of cigarette smoke throughout the sleeping area. Around 1:44 AM, loud verbal altercations began in the adjacent unit and continued for hours. The host did not respond when we reported the issue during the stay. We checked out early and asked for a refund of unused nights, which she refused and stated that "We cannot force people to behave appropriately. Even the cops can’t." So we made a formal complaint to Airbnb and were issued a partial refund. We were not refunded for all unused nights, so be aware. Also be aware of potential retaliatory behavior if you complain. We stayed at this hotel via AirBB and had a terrible experience. The first night we smelled cigarettes smoke in a smoke free environment. Didn't think much of it until last night.||Around 10pm we smelled cigarette smoke again and sent a message to the owners and they stated they would look into it. They did not. Around 2am the neighbors got into a fight and made noise all evening long. I finally stepped out to ask them not to keep slamming their door and hitting their car horn, which stopped them until the next outburst. The noise went on all night long until 6:30am.||We also smelled cigarette smoke off and on all night long and when we sent a message to the owner, they never responded (they are not on sight). It's a very quaint little property. The room is very nice. Clean, quiet, and in a woodsy semi secluded area. Has a microwave, mini fridge and a 60 + inch screen TV. It is quite off the beaten path. But I liked it so much, that I booked another week to complete my business in the area.
