The Haven at Westwood

I recently stayed at The Haven in Westwood, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is excellent, the rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious, and spotless — truly a pleasure to stay in. But what stood out most was the unmatched hospitality. The staff went above and beyond in every possible way, always eager to help and genuinely focused on making our stay as comfortable as possible. Their attitude was remarkable and honestly took me by surprise. If you’re considering staying here, I highly recommend The Haven. It’s a rare blend of comfort, quality, and heartfelt service. I would absolutely return.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was comfy cozy and clean. The common areas were cleaned and smelled great. The complimentary toiletry bag was nice. The shower was great with the perfect amount of pressure. What did it was the customer service they were phenomenal and very responsive.

The Haven at Westwood is mamash one of those places you book expecting “a simple overnight,” and then you walk in and you’re like… okay, this is actually nice. Clean, calm, modern, and super well kept — the kind of spot that feels like a little getaway even though you’re still in Toms River. First thing you notice is how peaceful and private it feels. There’s no big lobby scene, no front desk with a line of people arguing about their confirmation number from 2009. It’s a smooth, code-based check-in situation — you get your info ahead of time, you come, you walk in, and boom… you’re settled. Very “no shtick, no stress,” which is honestly half the vacation. 😄 The rooms/suites are very clean and spacious, with that fresh “we actually care about maintenance” vibe. We really enjoyed our stay at The Haven - the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that suites are readily available - with a separate living room/kitchen area and bedroom. I highly recommend it and would definitely consider staying there again.

We came to Lakewood for a wedding and were holed up in our room at The Haven due to driving restrictions and a brutal snowstorm . With a full size fridge and double burner cook top, comfortable spacious furnishings and a beautiful bedroom and bathroom we were more than happy to shelter in place . We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Haven and that is now our future go to place when visiting Lakewood .
