Howard Johnson by Wyndham Toms River

Rooms were ok. Price was a little crazy. $300 plus $75 for a pet. I guess pet friendly is for 1 reason and 1 reason ONLY!! PROFIT!! Besides the hallways looking like it hasn't been cleaned in years, everything else was good. Because it is pet friendly, its what twist your arm for the pricing.. 3rd time I was here because of the pets. If I dint have pets, I definitely wouldnt stay due to the price.

Positive: The manager and the owner are the best there is. They will work with you. The staff is pretty good but I do have one problem. The one guy that you got working there. He has no clue what he's doing but everybody else is excellent Negative: There's nothing about this hotel that I did not like. I like it all. I'm enjoying to stay there and I will be back

People at the front desk were professional, but the hotel itself is disaster. Stains all along the carpet heading to the room. Once you enter the room,there are clearly horrible repairs of holes that were in the wall, broken switches, shower curtain that’s ripped and exit door that must’ve been repaired 50 times. Keep in mind, you will not be getting your security deposit back for at least two weeks. It’s next to impossible trying to talk to someone in customer service

I spent the entire visit absolutely terrified about our safety. Getting out of the car their was piles of garbage everywhere outside, but it was freezing so I kinda understood it. Then you walk to the side entrance and see that ANYONE could just walk in as no key card was needed for the door. You are immediately met with more trash in the hallways. We get to our room and find the sliding glass door lock mechanism barely holding together. Walls are cracked, doors scratched up, not just by presemed pets, the scratches are ALL around the doors and walls. Unless there's a cool story of exorcisms being done in the room on a regular basis....it doesn't track. We had to pay a $100 pet cleaning deposit for our 12lb puppy that's pee and poop could have only brought improvements. This hotel would b

Disgusted with their customer service. Booked thru online, went to cancel, they stated only a manager can verify the refund. Waited for the manager, was told they don’t know where their manager is or when they’ll be in. Still waiting on my refund. Their policy within their customer service is lacking. Will be calling again to find their “ manager” for my refund. Update the request was denied. No reason was given why it was denied when I was told they would refund me. Theyre stealing. Do not go here. Dishonest, disgusting and corrupt.
