The Hastings Inn Parsons

Stayed one night and it was really nice. The service was above and beyond excellent. The room was really nice. The tub was huge and the water was very hot. The bed was comfortable and clean. Full size coffee maker and microwave and a phone in the room. Big TV I never turned on. Was pretty quiet and I wasn't disturbed by anyone or anything. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I had the chance. 5 stars all day long.

I keep in mind there's a new management and they are doing their best to bring this motel back up. I didn't have any problems. There were no bed bugs or any other bugs. They are upgrading air conditioners and TVs and the entire place. It may not be all that great right now, but give them time to get it back up to par. It's not that bad of a place. It just has to be brought back up. It's new management and Marty is great. He is really awesome. Give him some time to get it cleaned up and back up in good shape. Nothing happens overnight. It may not be the best one in town, but it is the cheapest. It is as clean as they can get it. It's pretty clean. People are just looking at the damage that was left from past owners. I couldn't even get good answers on the telephone so I did not stay here. But by the pictures the rooms do not look great the location is way out in the Boondocks and the service was absolutely ridiculously bad. The people are not friendly or kind or helpful.

The bedspread had dog hair all over it and I do not have pets. The air conditioner was SO LOUD you could not sleep with it on and the lady at the front desk had already stated she was not going to answer calls after 10:00pm. The ROOM was DIRTY. It needed some bleach and good old fashion cleaning. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good folks running the place and good staff. Safe affordable place to stay in parsons.
