The Grand Hotel

Great place in the heart of downtown. Vintage rooms that are spacious. Found this place on Christmas day after spending time with the family after working a 25 hour shift. Needed a comfortable spot, and this place definitely delivered. With my daughter living nearby, I will be coming back! Hopefully I can check out the very nice bar and patio next time as well! (Closed on Christmas day)

We have now stayed here 3 times and it has been a great place to stay with a unique historic atmosphere. We love being able to do self check in and check out. Melanie always contacts us prior to arrival and provides us with a 24- hour contact number. We are staying here again next weekend for the last football game of the season and we'll be back next year!

My husband came across this gem of a hotel traveling for work. We took a weekend trip over and I can't wait to go back. The hotel was so charming and stunning. I loved all the antique touches. It was like staying at my grandma's house again. The 1890 bar inside was gorgeous and the drinks were top notch. I love that it is centrally located to downtown Newnan, Lagrange and Senioa. We visited the Royal Theatre and watched an amazing blues show. It was just the getaway we needed!

The Grand is such a unique place to stay. Always enjoy the warmth and charm of The Grand. It was nice as a peaceful 1yr anniversary get away minus the fussy child in the room next to us. Jazz music at the bar was a nice end-of-the-evening event and a glass of wine on the porch before bed was a great. Sad to see the decline of downtown and hope to see a comeback with some new vendors, shops, stores soon. Such a quant little town.

We spent 1 night after an Auburn football game and loved It! Melannie greeted us and gave us a tour and detailed information regarding our stay. The room was great and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony prior to leaving for the game. We got in around 1 AM from the game and the only worry we had was the squeaking stairs as we went to our room. The historic atmosphere was so charming and we have now booked the same room for 3 more football weekends. This will be our hotel of choice for future football seasons.
