The Gillette

We stayed 3 nights over the manic Christmas period. The location is great as its just far enough away from the parkway to feel peaceful but only a couple of minutes walk in to the chaos of Christmas in Gatlinburg. The room was spacious and well kept. The only downside of our stay was the last day and someone smoking cannabis on the chair outside the rooms. It wouldn't put me off staying here again though

We have been staying at The Gillette for 16 years. The rooms, service, location, and staff are exceptional. There is no other place in Gatlinburg that we would rather stay. This is an establishment started and operates by family, and they make you feel welcomed each and every time that you visit.

This place is one of the few family/locally owned places left. They know it, and they show it! You couldn't find a nicer group of people anywhere if you tried. I think there's 3 generations working there if I remember correctly. Iv3 stayed with them twice now and will be back there in July again. Rooms are clean, location is perfect for mine and my companies needs. 10/10 on all levels!

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary trip. This was by far the cleanest hotel I have stayed at in a long while. It was absolutely immaculate! When came back in on sat afternoon our bed made bed clothes were neatly folded on the bed, clean towels were left and it was as clean as it was when we checked in. I do hope that our housekeeper joann gets a nice reward from the management of this hotel... she deserves it. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and personable and went way above and beyond to call me to let me know we had left a pillow behind before getting too far out of town. My stay was exceptional and I will definitely be back.

In town for the 50th annual Christmas Parade. So I am going to assume it was busier than a normal weekend. When arriving this location was easy to spot the signage was well lit which makes it easy to find. The 2 double bed room was large enough for my group including 2 eight year olds. We were only in town for 2 days so we didn't need a large amount of room, basically just a place to sleep and take a shower. And this fit that and more. Conveniently located just a short walk to the main Gatlinburg strip. The reviews live up to the expectations we had. Clean up dated rooms is exactly what we were looking for when booking a room and that is what we received.
