The Escapes RV Park & Storage

Small, newer park. Lots of graveled, Pull- Thru spots, mostly level. Full Hook-ups, good, steady electric. Not much shade, as trees are smaller, newly planted - will be nice when matured. Rural & quiet, but not too far to town. New Community Area going in with grills, Fire Pits & Gathering space. Cindy, Manager, is very friendly & accommodating. Nice, big, Dog Park too, but, as usual, not all pet owners pick up after their pets. Will be 5 Stars soon, I'm sure, as more amenities are added.

This is a very lovely place. Really quite. Peaceful. Well organized and laid out. Nice shower and bathrooms that stay clean and water pressure and temps are great. Laundry room is is an A+. This is the best, most affordable and nicest RV park anywhere around here. I would definitely recommend The Great Escapes RV Park over any other RV park in the area. And the prices!? It can't be beat. Short term or long term. Can't go wrong here. And it's pet friendly.

Very peaceful location! Owners were fantastic to work with. Very easy to communicate with. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of space between drive through spots. For those with pets, there is a dog park. Place is easy to find and close to town. Will be coming back!

A fairly new park. Quiet, secluded with only a 10 minute drive to Gilmer. Owner or manager, sorry, didn’t ask if he is one or both, is Very accommodating and the park has a nice Big dog run. Camper spaces are all pull through, level and plenty of room and length for the longer units. I really enjoyed my stay and would’ve loved to have spent more time there.

Been here for about six months. Have had nothing but a pleasent stay so far. The owners are very attentive, and that's just the start. The laundry room is nice and modern, the shower/bathrooms are very nice and we'll kept. The storage area is secured by lock and fence and very open for maneuvering our little cargo trailer. The spaces are huge! We have our 34ft trailer with room for both a pair of motorcycles and full size truck to all fit in the pull through. We have a wonderful grass pad yard right outside of our trailer which is great for our pup who soaks up the Texas sun. One way in, one way out and very quiet. A few of of are long term, but the short term guests seem to feel welcomed during their stays. They've got hi speed internet currently being installed so that's exciting. 30/5
