The Escapes @ Lake Anna

Bathroom was disgusting; toilet seat had nasty stains underneath them; the toilet water kept running the shower kept making noises; the bathroom was nasty and from the 1980s; propane tanks were empty and could not barbecue; the hot tub was above 100° f, extremely hot, and the chemicals were not the right amount; the dishes were all dirty; deck was crumbled and broken and old; there were expired items in the fridge; no trash bags provided by the owner; a bunch of empty boxes under the kitchen sink the pillows on the couches were leaking cotton and feathers; the owner wasn't responsive at a fast pace and did not provide the items when informed; The pictures in the Airbnb post were deceiving and the price was not worth it.

The host was hospitable and thoughtful. My family had the pleasure of staying at this house for a couple of weeks. From fishing at the beach and enjoying the playground during the day. And at night, we enjoyed the bonfires, hot tub, and grilling some steaks. It was a wonderful home away from home. Our host was quick to help us with any questions and help in any way possible. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We had a great time here! House was very comfortable, cozy and clean. The hot tub was so relaxing as well as the front porch. Had everything we needed for our stay, would definitely recommend staying here! We will be back 😊

There’s a lot to like about this property. Aleksandar was very communicative and quick to respond. It’s about a 10-minute walk inside a gated community to a private beach. The house itself has ample outdoor space with a firepit, hot tub, grill, paddle boards, and kayak. That’s good because there isn’t too much to do in the surrounding area, but the lake is the attraction here. It was very clean; linens, towels, and cleaning supplies were all provided. There is a washing machine, but I would love to see a dish washer installed in the future. All in all, would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

I’ve been staying here whenever it’s available, it’s always a clean and comfortable stay. Everything you need to cook and chill but also in a great location to go out around the lake.
