The Dome

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dome and our first time in Taos. The design and decor were unique and aesthetically appealing. We loved the view of the stars from the ceiling window above the bed. The natural surroundings were pleasant, peaceful and smelled of sage. We couldn't get enough of the panoramic view of the Taos mountains from the front door. We've already recommended the Dome to family and friends!

Very memorable stay in a sustainable dome-shaped home! The dome was kept very insulated and warm during the night and rather cool during the day, which was interesting. Spacious backyard and front-yard with a clothesline. I also spotted a cute little dog wandering around the property. I was a bit skeptical about the compost toilet, but it turned out fine. I felt like a cat for a while, and it was an interesting experience, but I don't know if I could live like that long-term, haha. There is basically some "litter" or compost in the toilet and after you do your business, you add two more scoops of the litter into the toilet bowl and twist a knob a couple times. The bathtub was quite old fashioned without an overhead showerhead (just a handheld one), but it worked. The couch had an interest

It's a very nice place, very cozy and lovable! The only thing that I could expect from a house like that is an offered coffee in the morning.. But the overall experience is super nice!

Beautiful surroundings and interior, quiet and clean. This was my first stay in a dome of any kind, and I will definitely be back for more time in this serene and uplifting haven.
