The Desert Hills Motel

**PROS:**low fare, historic building, near by a lot of locations with ride share, fun decoration, good AC, Fridge, a microwave, shower. Hot water gets HOT fast. Cable, If you love 50’s style for sure you’ll love the decorative style. QUICK walk to convince stores across the street IN THE DAY TIME. Near a lot of 24 hour food spots so door dash was always available and quick. **SERVICE:** Didn’t really ask or need service, so I don’t know how they were with problems. But the one time we talked to them they were kind, helped us out, and allowed us to check in early because our flight was so early. **CONS:**the location mainly, don’t bring your children here. Seems like they are trying to delete the reviews I’m leaving on Google, so I will post here as well. DO NOT STAY HERE. My partner and I stayed here last year during Memorial Day weekend, and after checking out, they charged us over $500 for a missing guitar decoration. They accused us of stealing and did not notify us of the reason for the charge until we called. Then they said they would run their own investigation and check their camera footage. They ended up refunding us the money but overall they are very shady and did not reply to any emails we sent. We even partnered with a consumer advocacy group who offered to mediate on our behalf. This hotel and management caused us significant emotional distress. Can’t recommend enough DO NOT stay here.

The location is great( fast food and gas station really close by),rooms are clean and the service is excellent. I would DEFINITLY recommend staying here if you come to Las Vegas.My room has great AC and everything works well. I give the Desert Hills 5 stars ..

When we got to the room, there was nobody there we were told to go to another location to pick up a key we picked up the key made it back To this motel, just open the door and close it lock it and take the key back. I think this place is not fit for a DOG The place smell like mold, other reviews said roaches and bedbugs. I cannot this place needs to be shut down. I had to go and find another room in a better spot so I can lay my head down and be safe if anybody is on this site trying to get a room here don’t waste your money. Don’t waste your time.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Customer service bar is all the way in hell plus communication is the absolute worst. Had an issue with my flight and aside from the few times I was able to reach someone; when I called back to ask questions and to provide info for someone to check in all calls went unanswered as if they wanted to avoid me to get my room. Would never book with this place again.
