The Darby Bed and Breakfast

The Darby bed and breakfast is a few miles out of town but it was a great place to stay. Thirteen of us booked the Darby for our motorcycle trip thru western Montana on our way to Glacier National Park. When we arrived Annie had laid out some warm freshly baked cookies for us. One of us used the wood heated hot tub and the rest enjoyed the views in the garden. They even had a central living area where we were able to gather later in the evening. The rooms were spotless and beds were very comfortable. The bed linens were of an exceptional quality. We awoke in the morning to the smell of coffee and an incredible breakfast. We stayed just for one night midway through our tour of North West USA. We could not fault the Darby and we were very happy with our room whilst the bed provided our best night sleep of the trip. The toiletries were also the best of our trip and and I am hoping to order some online. Annie was a charming hostess and was very happy for us to use her kitchen to make our own dinner. Breakfast was outstanding with home made bread and a tasty and original omelette. Although we did not eat out the drive to Hamilton was very quick and there looked to be a number of excellent restaurants there-there was nothing at all in Darby

August 20, 2018||||My wife and I just concluded an 8-day motorcycle trip through Montana. Completely complementing our majestic ride through the beauty that is Montana, was the delightful experience we had during our overnight stay at The Darby Bed & Breakfast. Nedra and Gene, the inn’s proprietors, along with their gentle giant family dog Marco, were the very warmest of hosts. After a long day of riding, we arranged to check-in and have the dinner (too) option with our stay. The dinner and following morning’s breakfasts were both generous and scrumptious. The inn was clean and comfortable, and the twilight lounging in the outdoor seating area was a perfect ending to a great day and a fine meal. Beds were crisp, fresh and soothingly comfortable. The “ Darby” is a great place to stay if you like to feel at home. The accommodations are spacious and clean. The views and grounds of The Darby were outstanding. The owners and their handsome golden retriever Marco make you feel right at home. The food Nedra prepares is truly out of this world tasty, from preparation to presentation. She takes pride in every thing she puts on the table. Gene is the other half of this well oiled machine. He was our fishing guide on the beautiful Bitterroot river. Gene’s top of the line equipment, most of all his patience and sense of humor made this trip the best I can remember.

Had a fabulous weekend at Darby B&B. Great breakfasts. Very comfy beds. Clean. Hosts were very accommodating. Made us feel at home. Had yummy snacks and beautiful grounds. It was very relaxing sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful views. || Highly recommend.
