The Cliffs At Peace Canyon

This place was amazing. We stayed here for Christmas and It was clean and very spacious, even the one bedroom room. The couch bed was comfortable and the kitchen was so fun to cook in. The fireplace got super hot and I loved sitting by it and warming up. I absolutely loved the pool area. The jacuzzi and the grilling area were the best parts. Pool also wasn’t too deep which I liked because the kids could swim freely without having to worry they may go into a deep end and drown. They provide you with enough dishes and the dishwasher has different modes for whatever cleaning you wish it to do, which I think is amazing. This is my fave place to stay when I come to Vegas for longer stays. They are affordable, clean, professional, and very centrally located to many shops and restaurants. They look like one of those big apartment complex type.places that have a gym, pool, Jacuzzi, pool table, business center with free wifi and printers, and a room that you can kick back and drink coffee and watch TV. The staff is always very helpful and welcoming. I believe you can rent either one or two bedroom units here. I always get the two bed two bath. It looks just like an apartment inside. Fully furnished and all the kitchen stuff for cooking and eating. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for off the strip lodging.

They gave us a room, and someone else was clearly staying there, except they didn’t have any record of someone being there. So not only was I paranoid that they were just going to give our room key to someone, and a stranger would walk in, but then I worried the whole time if they even cleaned rooms. Especially because they clearly hadn’t cleaned it since they last had a record of someone staying there. When we initially told the front desk about the issue, they didn’t even offer us a new room. I had to demand and tell them I refused to stay in a room that was clearly occupied. They honestly didn’t even seem bothered or worried by the situation, which makes me never want to stay there again. The girls were super kind, but clearly, their organizational system is severely lacking. I’m unsure

If you're looking for a place to stay in Vegas for your family and value matters more than the lights and glitter of the strip, I highly recommend this location, especially if you plan to spend any time at Red Rock Canyon, which is 20 minutes away. Staying at the Cliffs is not like staying at your usual resort or hotel. For a price lower than most Vegas hotels nowadays, you get a 1 or 2 bedroom furnished condo/apartment which is bigger than most hotel rooms. The furnishings are dated and a little dirty but a comparable place on the strip would run triple what you would pay at the Cliffs. The gym is small and the pool area is decent. The Cliffs at Peace Canyon is a very comfortable place to stay. The rooms are roomy, the property is well maintained, and the pool facility is wonderful. My reserved parking spot was not adjacent to my room. The cooking hardware - pots, pans, cooking utensils were a bit sparse. For example, I had to request a frying pan - but one was then provided. There is no cleaning/room maintenance service provided without specific request. You must remove your trash and take it to the large trash bins. However, overall, this was a very comfortable choice for my stay. I found it much more enjoyable than a traditional hotel stay.
