The Chandler Hotel

A wonderful stay for me and my Fiance! My Fiance surprised me with a 1 night stay to get away from our busy lives and wedding planning to enjoy each other's company. With the help of The Chandler Collection, it was an elevated experience. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and comfortable, while Vintage Lanes provided such a fun experience, and as the night grew, a relaxing experience, enjoying the wine and live violin! The fine line details also didn't go unnoticed, as everything ties together so wonderfully. One memory we will cherish, is picking out a record to play in the lobby making each other smile and him spinning me around. It truly felt like we were in a movie.

Charming and earthy retro-mod vibe, pure classic, new vintage, industrial fab... absolutely loved every detail of this room!! (Trail #11). It was so stylish, clean, and welcoming. I want to stay here every night - and it is now the inspo for my future bedroom remodel. We had a spontaneous overnight get away to enjoy the holiday lights and decor during the post-Christmas calm in Madison and discovered this perfect gem (along with duckpin bowling, a speakeasy, karaoke, and antiques galore down the street.) Highly recommend!

This place exceeded my expectations. The room was decorated in a fun way with an obvious respect for the past, the bedding was awesome, the bathroom bright and clean and modern. The lobby was clean and welcoming. We were there in the dead of winter but would like to have taken advantage of the rooftop terrace in nicer weather. There is no staff on duty, which has usually felt cold and impersonal, but after being there, I felt I knew our hostess. Her touches were everywhere. My favorite thing: the coffee maker already had water in it and the coffee was already measured out in little jars and there was a sign to explain it all!

When calling to ask for a room at the last minute, the staff member went above and beyond. He was so attentive, kind and professional. He was able to help us get situated quickly with great ease. We returned to clifty falls 12 years into our marriage to celebrate our anniversary. After hiking the trails, we needed a place to stay and were so fortunate to have stumbled upon the Chandler Hotel. Our waitress, Briana from the restaurant the Red Place recommended this hotel. We are so grateful she did. Every attention to detail was made in the renovation of this building. Even the utility closets were quintessential. We noticed the beautiful T.C. Steele art placed in the hallway as well as many other great artists with appropriate lighting placed throughout the hotel. Magical. We loved all of the thoughtful touches, such as the preground and pre-measured coffee, and the luxury products in the bathroom; the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The history behind the hotel makes it even more unique, and the hotel hit itself is absolutely stunning, decorated beautifully, and cozy and comfortable and clean. We would certainly stay here again on another trip back to Madison, which just also happens to be a magical little hidden jim town where we kept saying “ I feel like I’m in a hallmark movie!” Lol
