Iron Gate Inn Bed & Breakfast

We just stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast. The inn keeper, Melodie, was fabulous!!! She was so sweet and knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful home. Our room was very clean, and we slept very well on the comfy mattress. The breakfast was delicious!!! Will return to this lovely place in the future. A true gem in Madison IN!!!!

We had a great 2 nights at the Iron Gate B & B. The house is so beautiful and our room was beautiful and clean. We could walk everywhere in Madison. Medody was a fun and excellent host - the best we’ve had. Breakfasts were amazing. We will definitely return.

Melody made us feel welcome and at home! She was helpful and charming! Every inch of the place was clean, access was well explained (and went smoothly when we returned later in the evening) and breakfast was delicious and ample! We will absolutely stay here again! It was lovely! 🤗💗

Innkeeper was very nice, had one of the best breakfasts at a bnb--blueberry dutch baby with real whipped cream, egg and mushroom square, fresh fruit plate (in shape of fanned turkey feathers), coffee and orange juice. Located on Main Street in Madison. We were in the St. Michael room, street facing. The other rooms faced the back or side.

The place is a nice, quaint, well maintained, historic home. The "inn keeper" in Melody and she is very attentive and a pleasant person in general. The location is walkable to many of the major attractions in the town and the town itself is really a very interesting place. There is also the Clifty Falls state park within about a ten minute drive and the hiking there is fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay, the place, the breakfast that Melody prepared. The experience was very pleasant.
