The Carlyle Inn

We enjoyed our stay very much. The service and staff were very kind, professional, and accommodating. Parking in the garage was simple and accessible. Although there are no meals on-site, the hotel does offer discount coupons to nearby restaurants, and there is a snack bar in the lobby, as well as a happy hour in the early evening. We had a lovely dinner at the nice, quiet Thai restaurant across the street, and there were plenty of other restaurants within a short walking distance. The rooms were clean, quiet, well appointed, and the king sized bed was very comfortable. I will remember The Carlyle Inn the next time we are in LA.

Wow. For a budget hotel in this area it was amazing. |Super cute surroundings. Free happy hour and specalty coffee in lobby like espresso and lattes. Delicious. |Will stay again.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Negative: The air conditioning did really work in the room and I was never able to get it below 78 F. After one night and a day, I gave up and just opened the windows. At a hotter time of the year, this may be have been an option.

The Carlyle Inn room was clean and well maintained. The king bed was comfortable. The room was quiet despite its location on a busy street. Parking was in a covered area and adequate. My only complaint was that the internet service in the room was nonexistent. We went to the lobby to use the internet on our devices because there was a solid wifi signal there.

Comfortable, quiet stay. The room was clean, had a fridge and coffee maker, and there was also a coffee machine in the lobby that you could get a variety of coffees, lattes and espresso The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I especially appreciated the secure garage parking — I left my car there while using rideshare during my stay, and it gave me peace of mind. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again without hesitation.
