The Bunkhouse

The bunkhouse is a cozy spot tucked away in the hidden gem that is Minturn, CO. From here, you have great access to Vail and Beaver Creek, plus there’s lots of great options for food, coffee, and outdoor activities year round. On top of that, Fischer and Nancy are such hospitable owners and a delight to chat with. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet folks from all walks of life at the Bunkhouse as it has a very open and welcoming vibe. Also, the bunks are quite cozy! You even get your own light, outlet, and curtain for privacy. I always have a great time coming here and would highly recommend!

The Bunkhouse is a hidden gem in the valley. Directly in between Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts, it's convenient to everything that you're coming here to do. It's kept impeccably clean by the super friendly staff (I see you Piero, Ian, Riley, Lissa, Cam, and Diego!). You're probably going to make a new friend or two while you stay here, unless you're a curmudgeon, in which case the completely enclosed dorm style bunks will give you plenty of privacy. If you want to hang out in Minturn, you're walking distance from absolutely everything in town, and there are free buses that pick up almost directly out front that you can take to get to Vail or Avon (Beaver Creek). Nancy, Fischer and Diamond are excellent hosts. This hostel was extremely clean with very comfortable beds, clean linens, fan above the bed is a nice added touch. Bathrooms very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. I met some great people and loved the Minturn Mile. I had a car so it was easy to get to Beaver Creek and buy groceries, but there is a bus stop across the street to get to Vail that I liked. Guests were polite and quiet hours were adhered to. Highly recommended! Just don’t forget to take off your shoes!!!

Love staying here every time I visit Colorado! Nancy and Fischer are very attentive to their guest and the staff is great and really welcoming. The bus system is also convenient to get to vail or beaver creek. I feel very safe here as a solo female and look forward to coming back!
