The Branch at Afton Mountain Retreat

Our stay at the Branch in Afton was absolutely perfect! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel so welcoming. The setting is peaceful and scenic—tucked away enough for quiet and relaxation, but still close to wineries, breweries, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was incredibly kind making check-in a breeze and offering great local recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return again. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Afton area!

We recently had a chance to stay at The Branch for 3 nights. The house is absolutely adorable and very functional. Plenty of space for indoor/enclosed/outdoor hanging out. Extra bonus of finished basement with large screen tv and shelves of games/puzzles. Full size washer/dryer with detergent provided. Kitchen was well stocked and coffee choices were great, keurig or brewed, your choice. Amenities in the bathroom, in case we forgot things. Location is awesome if you’re touring the wine area. Would happily stay again at The Branch.

This was our 2nd stay at The Branch, but our 5th stay at one of Dawn and Damond’s properties. We love this house because it is perfect for our little one to play both inside and outside. The attention to detail throughout the house (kitchen, bathroom amenities and bedrooms) is why we love booking and staying at Dawn and Damond’s properties. They are wonderful hosts and we look forward to our next trip!

I travel a lot for my job and have stayed in hundreds of hotels/Airbnbs during the past 25+ years. The Branch is easily one of my favorite places of all time in one of my favorite locations for 2 reasons. First, the Branch itself serves as a place of rest, home base for adventure seeking, and/or inspiration. I spent almost a week there finishing a book and want to return again asap as it was by far my most productive writing time. The house is immaculate and well appointed. Every feature serves a purpose that contributes to a peaceful ambiance which guarantees a delightful and memorable stay. Second, Dawn and Damond Cromer are magnanimous hosts full of joy, kindness, and attention to detail. They are America's best!

Clean, beautifully appointed, close to everything and communicative hosts - highly recommend!
