The Big House @ Apple Blossom Farm

Our visit to the Big House at Apple Blossom Farm was magical! The property itself is one of a kind and the uniqueness really enhanced our stay. The amenities are too many to list but we particularly enjoyed the indoor pool and the rescued animals on the property. The indoor pool freed us from the need for sunscreen, rash guards, bug spray and sunglasses, etc. It was as easy as putting on a swimsuit and walking downstairs. The animals brought us so much joy each day! The two barn cats greeted us with affection at every sighting. Everyone in our party was delighted by feeding and petting the animals. Great house! Love the pool, the animals, the game room and the dinning room table (it’s giant)! The kitchen was great for 1 or 2 people at a time and having fresh eggs for breakfast was a real treat. Beds were ok, a little soft and squeaky but manageable. Great location for visiting Gettysburg! I would stay again!

6 stars!!!! We stayed at The Big House to spend some quality time together as a family, and we couldn’t be happier! The house was spacious and super super clean! There was plenty of stuff to do for everyone of all ages. Board games, and table games, and movies, etc. At night we sat around the at night we sat around the fire pit and sang/told stories! We absolutely loved the indoor pool and went swimming at least five or six times. The animals were a ton of fun to interact with and the kids love feeding them! Most importantly, the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful and really made us feel like we’re on vacation! If you’re looking for a special getaway, The Big House is definitely worth the money and traveling time! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Planned a family vacation at the Big House with Elizabeth. Excellent stay and well set up by owner. Had so much to do in and out of house. Kids and all loved feeding the horses and chickens. Had organic eggs for breakfast supplied by son Vaughn. Fabulous. Met both Elizabeth and husband Rob. Great people and hosts. Thanks for the wonderful time.

This house is AMAZING! It was the perfect weekend winter getaway for my friends and I. Loved the indoor pool, game room and hot tub! Will definitely be back!
