Cashtown Inn

Found this from the hear me out podcast. This was a great gem. Lots of history. Didn't have any paranormal happenings but that really wasn't why we were there. The staff was excellent, they fit us in for Valentine's dinner last minute and the Greek breakfast was great. Staff even helped out with first aid request. I highly recommend this for your Gettysburg trip. They have a guy there doing tours of the cellar and you could tell he did it for the love. The room we stayed in was cozy. Easy check in that was self check in. Water pressure was good. Really only pros here. Definitely book this place, you'll be glad! Their restaurant is top tier. They also gave me a treat for the holiday too.

My wife surprised me with this getaway birthday present!! What a nice clean and quiet place to hang out. We had stayed at Cashtown Inn many years ago, the new owners have really done a nice job with a historic gem!

Very charming and historic inn! We stayed two nights in the A.P. Hill room, which was both beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner each night and a delicious breakfast both mornings of our stay. The history talk with Bruce is a must—we learned so much about the inn and the surrounding Gettysburg area. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly welcoming. We loved it so much that we booked another stay just three weeks after our first visit!

We stayed at the Inn for the Annual Music Muster weekend in 2025. It was a very pleasant experience. We had a romantic dinner in the tavern on Friday night and Saturday mornings offer breakfast, a history lesson and tour of the Inn. For an equivalent price of a chain hotel and breakfast we got to stay in history rather than just tour it. Our room was the General A. P. Hill (Room 3) that overlooks the road the Confederate soldiers took into and out of the battle. It's sobering thought. Seeing the writings from the early 1800 travelers on the walls was a reminder of how much history the Inn has seen. The room was nice, comfortable, equipped with a refrigerator and coffee maker and each room has it's own bathroom with a shower. I can't express how much more of an experience it was to stay the

My wife and I had dinner here on Valentine's Day and it was fantastic. The food, the wait Staff, and the service was just top-shelf. On your next outing with your special someone, you would be doing yourself a favor to consider the Cashtown Inn.
