The Barlow RV

We brought our son here to see snow one last time. It was perfect. Very private. Sites are huge, very well decorated and cozy. The scenery is beautiful and the creeks running thru the property were peaceful. The owners were very friendly and attentive. The firewood is self serve. The WiFi was very fast with no issues. We stayed in lot 1. Each lot has a big fire pit area, grill and table. The gravel road was clean and easy to drive thru. Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful stay and that doesn't want to feel like a sardine packed in a parking. We stayed during a snow storm… it was beautiful. I imagine the spring and fall will be amazing!

The Barlow RV is an absolute hidden gem. The moment you arrive, you can feel how thoughtfully the property is laid out…..quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. The sites are spacious and offer plenty of privacy, making it easy to relax and unwind. Everything is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. One of my favorite parts was the hiking trail right on the property, perfect for a morning walk or an evening unwind with great views. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and secluded mountain getaway, The Barlow RV delivers an amazing camping experience.

We had been looking forward to camping here since before it was open. Our excitement was justified. This property is perfect! Everything about our stay was wonderful. We would definitely stay again. The amount of vision and hard work that went into creating this awesome place is more than evident. We stayed at site # 4. Beautiful Fall colors and quiet days and nights made our trip very relaxing. Many great places to visit are within driving distance. This is a must stay place!

The Barlow is such a beautiful and peaceful boutique campground. Attention to detail is outstanding and the views are phenomenal! I would highly recommend it as a couples escape. The location is close to downtown Banner Elk and TNs Roan Mountain.

Greatly enjoyed our stay here! Even with 20+ mph winds. The setup for each site is well thought out and private. We look forward to returning in the spring and summer to partake in hiking and other activities.
