Despite other reviews, we were very happy. The rooms were dated or dirty but functional and clean. The location is excellent for what we were seeking which was a trip into the city and then access to eastern LI for an event. Staff was wonderful and helpful and mostly available. If there was a knock for me to give, it would be that, yes, the sound in the place is tough. You can really hear a lot from other rooms but we had no issues while we were there regarding sleeping. The bed was super comfortable and we turned on the HVAC for background noise and slept great. We didn't try the breakfast bc we went to the gym across the tracks and missed it but the wife got tea anytime of day she wanted it. We were pleasantly surprised based on some of the other reviews and would absolutely stay here a

Melissa at the front desk welcomed and helped me with my busy schedule assuring me all I asked for. Also Willie was helpful next day and Bryan too! My stay was very comfortable after no sleep for a few days. 5 star to Andreww in GN

Positive: Front desk staff were excellent as well as valor Negative: Nothing what it looked like online, no refrigerator, no ice bucket, room was small, although clean.Not enough towels, asked for more and never received. One thing you should know is the rooms are smaller and a bit dated but clean, comfortable, and location is amazing. I stay here often (at least once a year) because it is close to family. This time, we got to know Willie, the valet. He helped us understand parking rules in the area as valet wasn't available, held the door every time we went in or out for the day. His son was even driving by and he introduced us which made us feel like part of the local community. Sadly, I didn't get the names of two other amazing employees. One was at check in, she was younger and had glasses. We had requested a rollaway bed during our stay and she got it up to us so quickly. She was always smiling and happy to help. The other was the woman working in the breakfast area. She is super down to earth and alwa
