The 1891 Inn Bed and Breakfast

Had the opportunity to stay at the 1891 Inn Bed and Breakfast to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had a great time! Morrow Mtn, golf and a couple of nice restaurants in the area. I want to thank Ron for his hospitality and kindness. Looking forward to next time!

A perfect bed and breakfast get away! The 1891 Inn is ideally located to allow walking all around town. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with large updated baths. Breakfast was a five star dining experience! Evenings out on the wrap around porch bring back fond memories of ‘front porch sitting’ as a child with family. Evening refreshments available in the parlor are a special touch. I can’t say enough good things about the house, the host, and the hospitality. We will definitely return!

Mine and my wife's 41st Anniversary stay at The 1891 Inn was a thoroughly relaxing and rejuvenating experience! Our gracious and entertaining host, homeowner Ron Perrine, was waiting for us on the front porch and welcomed us as we arrived late in the evening of our first night's stay. He showed us the layout of the house, the room we would be staying in, and gave us a brief history of the Inn as we settled in. He told us breakfast would be served at 8:30 AM and to let him know if we needed anything. The whole atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. The next morning, after our restful sleep on an amazingly comfortable mattress, we prepared for the day. Mr. Perrine greeted us shortly after 8:00 AM, showed us the cozy breakfast nook we would be dining in and where the coffee pot was.

Ron, the owner and all things 1891 Inn, is a friendly and humorous host providing us with yummy cookies and wine as well as a delicious large (not according to Ron!) breakfast. We spent just one night in the Maralise room which worked for us for our short stay with a king bed and bathroom/shower in the room. The inn is tucked into the edge of a quiet neighborhood and is super convenient to downtown Albemarle....walking distance. Love seeing older homes given historic designation and preserved!

Ron, your bed and breakfast is absolutely beautiful and quaint—such an amazing place! It was so comforting and welcoming, with such a charming soul. Thank you for being you. From the first greet, the correction of my parking 🤣, cookies and wine, to how you make those breakfast potatoes! You made our two night stay wonderful. We would recommend your place to anyone!
