Texas Inn

Very basic no frills hotel. I will try somewhere else next time. Room was very hot when we walked in and the mini fridge freezer was leaking all over the floor. Bad first impression. Not a huge big deal though besides room hot and took a long time to cool off.

My boyfriend and I were exhausted at 2AM and 4 hours away from home, when we called several hotels for an opening. This hotel had a 2 bed available for a little over $100 for one night. At the time we thought that was the best deal it being a busy night on spring break. However once we got there and to our rooms, we realized we made a huge mistake. The room smelled terrible, even though it's no smoking. There were needles in the bathroom and no hot water. The fridge didn't work. The door didn't lock securely at all. The AC and TV worked though. Had we not been so tired we would have left and looked elsewhere. When we asked an explanation why we were charged so much for such terrible conditions the wife of the owner said it being such a busy night she could have charged as high as $399. I c

Remote was broken, restroom light did not function and room did not lock. When I requested it to be fixed I was told not to worry about it and that he would fix the following day. When I checked out I was told I could not wait for my ride in the lobby, I was told to wait outside.

8/31-2025 Much better than I expected! Older motel..but everything is in walking distance.(Reynas Mexican food)pretty good! Lots of parking..very well lighted..Mgr.Andy was very nice! Yes they have a ice machine!.no pool..if your looking for a nasty breakfast buffet go pay more...some where else!..great breakfast within minutes walk! Room...cold AC!..clean comfortable room for the money! Yes they have a $50 deposit....it's refunded on check out!..don't tear up the room or steal things. Stan Watson Riverside Tx

Savings not worth the poor experience. Entered room to find about a couple dozen dead flies scattered across the floor. When I decided to take a shower, found the towels had stains on them and possibly dirty. Went that night to ask for clean towels and also mention the flies all over the floor and then receptionist complained that I was telling her now (and not earlier in the day). Apparently my timeliness was the main issue in her mind, not the dirty room and towels. Receptionist then asked me to wait until morning for clean towels because she didn’t want to take 2 minutes to walk to the laundry room to get them. I said I needed them tonight so we walked over together and she gave me two towels. Then I turned on the water in the sink to see a splash of brown liquid before the water
