Temperate Zone RV Park

Fabulous rv location. We camped in our Class A Chateau. The non-paved road leading to the property was an easy, straight road to navigate. Just take your time. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The laundry room was spotless with excellent washers and dryers. We did not use the kitchen area, but it too was clean and very functional. We enjoyed the owners tour of their garden. It was a gardeners paradise with vegetables, fruit, fruit trees, nut trees and chickens. My husband and I will always stay at this property from now on. Temperate Zone RV Park is a small, family run Park. It is off the beaten path, quiet and comfortable. It's surrounded by a working ranch complete with cows, horses and Quail everywhere. The sites are roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate and nicely arranged. The owners are friendly and helpful. We spent several days here hiking in the surrounding State Parks and loved it! We will definitely be returning to Temperate Zone RV Park the next time we travel to New Mexico.

The owner Vicki was super kind and helpful. The park is very primitive, yet forever views, and super quiet. So peaceful. Rockhound State Park is even nearby. It is a ways off the highway. Almost 20 miles and then 1 mile dirt road to the park. But doable with an RV. Definitely worth the distance though. Would definitely stay again. Do your own laundry room and clean restrooms. I’ll gravel, but with some mature trees.

Beautiful views. Shade trees. Most quiet park ever. Owners Vicki and James are wonderful, helpful people. If you seek peace and quiet with only 17 miles to Deming, this park is ideal!

Good simple park. You get all the basics without the crowds! Inexpensive and clean. Park is all gravel. They drag a couple times a year and totally wipe out the new weeds. A tree between half the sites for some nice shade. Very quiet park and low-key guests. The owners are private but keep a sharp eye on the park. I've enjoyed staying here and living here seasonally too. I'd recommend this place to people NOT looking for a social scene.
