Hampton Inn Deming, NM

I've stayed here about 20 times over the years, always a pleasant time. Rooms are remodeled and clean. I'd like to mention that the past two years Michael G had been behind the desk when I stayed there and checked in, he is an outstanding representative of the hotel. He treats all the guests with a sincere greeting and is quick to check them in. He is experienced and professional, along with being a really nice guy.

The Hampton Inn Deming, New Mexico is a fairly new location and is in very good condition. The rooms are large, quiet and clean. The location is very convenient to the interstate with easy on and off. All of the staff members we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Very pleased.

We arrived this past Friday and checked out this morning. I wanted to comment on the service that we received upon checkin from Victoria and Michael, and throughout our stay. They were excellent and very service minded. As a former GM of a Hampton Inn; 28 years. I recognize excellent service and these 2 team members have it! I have always believed that anyone can build a hotel, but the team makes it live. Victoria and Michael have Hamptonality in spades! If you find yourself in Deming stop by it will be worth it!

Very, very unkept and unclean. Our room had no facial tissue, coffee but zero cups anywhere in the room, a very small amount of toilet tissue with no extra back-up rolls, frig door would not close, and a good deal of dust/debris was on the floor; vacuum must not have been done at all recently. Night desk clerk was friendly and obtained above items cheerfully. Morning desk clerk was rude when asked for a receipt. Floors were dirty and unmopped throughout the building, including in the elevators - obvious spills that were walked through and just allowed to dry. The kitchen/breakfast area and coffee bar were also very dirty and poorly stocked although, employees were present. The female attendant was unconcerned and aloof. Very poor experience. We stayed at this location a couple of years ago

Needed a safe place to stop on a cross-country road trip with a car full of things and after looking at dozens of hotels in the area (some of which had bed bugs according to other Google reviews!!) this hotel was the perfect spot. They just renovated so the beds and furniture and breakfast area are all brand new— super clean, comfortable, and our car was fine all night. Michael checked us in and got us a hotel overlooking the well lit parking lot to keep an eye on our car. He was friendly and had great energy! If you need a place to stay in New Mexico, this hotel is great. Even though it’s about $50-70 more than the other hotels in the area, it felt worth it for the fact that we didn’t need to worry about bed bugs and break ins.
