Tara's Treehouse

Fantastic! The home is warm and cozy. Very private with amazing sunset views with Lake Burton and the mountains in the background. Loved the covered patio - we spent hours each evening and morning there.

I am not even sure where to begin. Our stay at Tara's Treehouse was absolutely amazing. Everything about it was perfect. Communication with Brenda & Gordon was outstanding. I made our reservation online, but from the moment I did I received emails with directions, key codes, etc. When we arrived the cabin was so clean we were very impressed as some of the other properties we have booked have left a lot to be desired. My husband and I and my in laws had the most amazing time here. The view we had of the lake was what dreams are made of. The cabin was perfectly outfitted, just about everything you would need to enjoy your stay was provided. The city of Clayton was just a short drive to stock up on groceries and we even made a stop at Tiger Mountain Vineyard for a few bottles to enjoy on the

Tara's Treehouse is a unique getaway location. Reservations are easy to make. Basic introductory information left in the cabin and the guestbook make it east to settle-in for a great experience. The rooms are spacious. The views are breath-takings whatever time of the year one is there. It is not only a great place for peace and solitude, but a great location among numerous day trip excursion destinations. Great place! Great management! Beautifully maintained! I highly recommend Tara's Treehouse. You will long remember your experience there.

Another great stay at Tara's Treehouse! This is my second time renting the tree house and I can't wait to return for a third time next month. Brenda and Gordon make rental, check in and check out very easy. We also had great communication with Terry about check out since the tree house was being turned the same day. As has been mentioned, the kitchen and house are really well stocked. We loved stargazing from the top porch each evening and starting the morning on the covered porch. I would recommend the tree house to anyone trying to get away for awhile!

Tara's Treehouse was a great place to stay for a family vacation. The view of Lake Burton and the valley and hills beyond is the best part. We spent most of our time at the house on the porch enjoying the view. The house itself is all wood inside, not a piece of drywall anywhere. Its pretty basic but comfortable. Its about a 15 minute to Clayton which has several good restaurants. Its about 45 minuts to Helen. And about 35 minutes to a couple of great golf courses (Brasstown and Sky Valley). Highly Recommended.
