Tall Timbers Lodge - Two Bedroom Cabin with Hot Tub

We booked this cabin / house for a long vacation with my whole (multigenerational) family to enjoy. It was our summer splurge - and so disappointing. This place looks great in the pictures, but it was FILTHY when we arrived (even after management called to tell us the house wouldn't be ready on time due to the late arrival of a cleaning crew). There were mouse / rat droppings in many of the dishes, there was no soap or dishwasher detergent to wash them, one of the comforters in the bedroom had been urinated on by a pet, and the refrigerator had food and spills in it. The beds were made with mattress covers - not sheets, and they were filled with dirt in the terrycloth fabric. We rewashed all of them the night we arrived and were up until midnight doing it. This lodge is large and in charge! Gorgeous place, room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Little trail to the river is sweet to explore. Love the huge kitchen, lots of room for everyone to participate in cooking.

The only thing I didn't like about this place is the river is barely accessible. It's not in the backyard as it looks in the pictures. Otherwise this place was absolutely amazing.
