My favorite free campground between highway 50 & 80. Clean and level campsites.
Free only five spots quiet on the river very romantic also Granite Chief Wilderness Area and trailhead.
Loved this campsite!!! Only a few spots but they were decent sized and spreed out. Only 25 steps to the American River tons of free firewood to pick from and the best part the site is Free
One of the most beautiful campgrounds you can visit, and it's free!
Quite clean remote = perfect
