MINER'S CAMP, FORESTHILL

We stayed at Miner's Camp because the pictures of the setup were very cute! But we did not have a good experience and won't be staying again. I'm not sure if it was our particular cabin, but the pictures did not match the listing. Lighting, furniture and decor had been swapped out, making it feel much less cute and cozy. We were right next to the highway and the constant noise and headlights were distracting and made it hard to relax or sleep. The only 2 options for lighting were the cold, bright recessed lights overhead or a chandelier that was so dim we literally couldn't see. There were no bedside lamps and this made it feel really unpleasant. The beds were really really uncomfortable, the pillows completely flat and the linens cheap feeling and scratchy. Confirming reservation, policies, rules, fees etc is fine but every few days I would get the same ones again. And again and again. |Very kitschy and too many knick knacks all over and on the walls. Felt cluttered. |Kitchen shelves were dusty. |Outside needs a little clean up. |

Loved this great spot. 3 queens cabin was perfect for us. Very clean and staff answered all my calls and were super helpful. Walking distance to Forestville Lodge. The outdoor communal kitchen is a sweet touch.

Small cozy cabins with microwave and small fridge and TV. Sofa bed and bed in extra room. Hot water runs out in shower after 10 minutes. But all else good

This place is a joke for the price! Pissing rain outside and no rain gutters. No rug to prevent slipping on the wet floor! Towels don't even match. Not a place I would ever recommend! Toilet seat not even secured to the toilet. Wow!!!
