Sylvan Motor Lodge

An absolute GEM in the Hudson Valley. With a saltwater pool, yummy linen sheets and everything you could need in each room, Sylvan Motor Lodge is such welcome respite. It’s truly a perfect place for a big birthday bash or an intimate wedding weekend. The new sauna is another bonus. Can’t recommend this place more!

My girlfriends and I have been coming for the last 5 years. This year with the addition of the new salt water pool and sauna its even better. Love the idea of a motel take over we hang out, swim, play music, party, and cook together and never leave the compound. We all look forward to it every year. Every year I rent out the entire lodge for an all girl get-together and we all have a blast! Cooking in the outdoor kitchen, swimming in the newly lined pool, doing yoga under their huge tent, making jewelry , playing board games, making exotic drinks and roasting marshmallows under the stars by the fire pit! It is a unique place that you have all your yourselves! Love it more each year!

This place is a dream. Salt water pool, check! Sauna, check! Fire pit, check! The beds are super comfy and the showers have excellent pressure- and great products! The lobby is a perfect place for morning coffee and has a pellet stove and tons of games, magazines and a record player that also hooks up to your phone's bluetooth! There is even a charging spot for your electric car! Not to mention the best hostess in the east! 10/10, will be back!!

We had a great family reunion at SML. The kids (and adults) loved the pool. Our group went ziplining at Catamount, rented bikes near the Bash Bish trail, hiked to the Bash Bish Falls, s'mores by the campfire, and tons of pool time. Dana is helpful and provided info regarding lots of other nearby attractions. Lastly, one of our family members fell requiring an ER visit, and the rural hospital nearby was excellent. It was an unforgettable time in Hillsdale!
