Catamount Mountain Resort

Our visit on Jan 2nd 2026 more or less ruined the ski experience for my kids. I was expecting it to busy given the holiday season but the lack of resort preparedness made things much worse. We started on the bunny hill to get a hang of things. There was only 1 magic carpet lift running so you could easily wait 20 minutes for a 30 sec run down the hill. The other functional magic carpet was reserved for ski school but only got used for about an hour that day. The 3rd magic carpet looks like it’s been abandoned but was the one really needed to give access to a bit more slope before tackling a chair lift. My kids gained what confidence they could on the bunny slope and then were ready for more terrain so we tried the promenade triple. The scan gates were completely inadequate with only 3 scan

Not too crowded on the Sunday before President’s Day and we were very excited to find 10 EV chargers in the parking lot!! Made our trip home so much easier.

My best friend and I had the absolute BEST experience at Catamount this past weekend with our children. Our kids went into "Mountain Cats" ski school for the afternoon with head instructor Molly Goodrich. She is an expert teacher with precise skill teaching young kids. The kids came out of the lesson more confident and skillful! The other instructors were also fantastic! The entire staff is great and the mountain has a ton to offer. We also LOVED the taco truck. We'll definitely be back!!

I have been a long time skiier and grew up coming to this mountain. BUT I have never been more disappointed in a ski lesson program than I was this past weekend. First- I called and spoke with someone prior to booking lessons for my 2 sons, I was told there would be 6-8 kids per 5 adults, They would be assessed throughout the day and by the end of day would be able to easily handle a green hill. ALL LIES- THIS IS A GLORIFIED DAYCARE so the parents can ski alone. First, When we arrived I was told there was 796 kids rolling through the program all day. I dropped my kids off and went on a few runs, they were still not outside when I got back, my first run by to record them I noticed my son had NO JACKET ON, it was 22 degrees and snowing hard. so I went into the lodge got his jacket. I can’t say enough great things about Logan! As first-time visitors and complete beginners to skiing, I was honestly a bit nervous about navigating everything at the resort. From the moment we met Logan, all of that changed. His knowledge of the ski resort was absolutely incredible — he knew every trail, lift, and lodge, and he explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand and feel comfortable. What really stood out was his professionalism and patience. Logan took the time to listen to my concerns, gave thoughtful and excellent advice, and made sure we felt confident before heading out. He recommended the perfect beginner-friendly runs and shared helpful tips that made a huge difference in my experience. Because of Logan, my first ski trip wasn’t just manageable — it was
