Swiss Villa Resort

We didn’t stay at this resort, but we had a vacation rental a couple houses away. It’s a very cute neighborhood FULL of crotchety, rude and upitty old folks. We couldn’t have possibly felt less welcome. We’ll never return to this place because of one old grump named Dave Embry. He was so rude and hateful. Also, the people all just overtly stare at you when you’re trying to enjoy a vacation. If you try to fish, they just stand there, arms folded, staring at you. Same thing if you’re swimming or whatever else you might be doing. It’s like they want you to understand that they don’t want you there. Well, they ruined our vacation. We would never go back. If you’re not part of their little club, I would definitely stay away!

I grew up here. Summers on the lake at black oak mountain, tearing down dirt roads on 4 wheelers, nearly blowing off fingers with overpowered fireworks, and partying till the sun comes up. Nothing better
