A very sweet older couple recently purchased this campground and renovated it and it’s WONDERFUL! Pros: AMAZING WIFI Beautiful river and creek right next to campsites Electric and water and every site (even a standard outlet so you can charge things if you’re tent camping) Very clean and nice bathroom facilities Ping pong table! 2x Pavilions! Cons (NONE! These facts just may be worth knowing ahead of time): They don’t accept anything other than online booking so if you’re trying to just show up, make sure to bring CASH! As for location, it’s truly wonderful but there’s a train that passes nearby, however no honking ever disturbed us!
Love this place! If you are looking for a lowkey campground that is “off-grid," this is the place for you! It is extremely quiet and all you hear is the rolling river and crickets. The owners were absolutely amazing. They provided us firewood every night, took our trash, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi on site is fast and great if you working remotely or just streaming tv. We will definitely be back!
If I could rate this place 10 stars I would! We camped with 3 large dogs, and an 8 month old baby; yet even with our chaos the host were so accommodating. Valerie and Fritz make this place so special. They helped us with extra tent stakes, zip ties, sodas, trash clean up, pump out, and free firewood. The hospitality, large sites, clean bath houses, and beautiful scenery make this place the perfect weekend getaway. Swedish Lilac is truly a hidden gem!
A very beautiful campground with wonderful hosts. Really enjoyed our stay there and the river is beautiful. Stayed two nights. Lots to see in the area. Would definitely stay her again.
Very clean, quiet, very accommodating. Bathroom super clean. Owners super friendly and kind. River is beautiful. Perfect location for camping.
