Suwannee River Rest Lodge & Adventures

Absolutely stunning place which I highly highly recommend. We were two families. Very clean and modern. Beautiful huge patio where we had breakfast and dinners and listened to all the Florida wildlife with amazing river views. The lawn area is beautiful with a hammock. There is also a very nice elevated deck right next to the river. Captain Cass was very hospitable and amazing. One of the upstairs bedrooms has views of the river which was just beautiful to wake up to in the morning. Captain Cass gave us really good recommendations on which springs to visit. Captain Cass also has a boat and for a reasonable fee took us on a river cruise to a spring.

What an awesome place to stay! 6 of us made the trip and wish we could go back tomorrow. The house was stocked with a ton of items, plus offered a gas & Charcoal grill, fireplace, fire pit, dock, 3 Kayaks, and so much more. The view was beautiful, the screened in patio was incredible, and the grills/fire pit were super convenient. Highly recommend a stay here!

This is a spacious house right on the Suwannee River. The house has a large deck facing the river. The master bedroom has French doors opening to the deck and thus, to the view of the river. The house is well supplied with everything a person will need for a stay. The owner has a boat and offers rides or day trip on the river. We took a short boat ride, an hour, and really enjoyed it. There is a lot to see in the area from the river. We brought our own kayaks and enjoyed it. The parents of the owner live next door and manage the place. They are friendly.

Absolutely love this place. The river is feet from our front door. Captain Cas is hilarious and helpful. Springs right around the corner and absolutely beautiful. Turn off the city life, reconnect with mother nature and enjoy the wildlife! Back again now in 2022 and it's still just as beautiful. Love the upgrades. The river is now high and running and the weather wonderful.

Wow, if youbare looking for a getaway spot that is sure to please any water lover (or anyone really, lol), this is the place! You won't be disappointed. Taking in the river view from the second floor screened porch is enough to bring smiles...but, then head inside the well appointed house and you will see why it is the full package deal. Everything you want and need including a remodeled chef's kitchen, including pot filler 👩‍🍳. If you are lucky enough to have B.J. show you around, you're off to a great start, like we were. She is an amazing orator of the Hatch Bend history. Thanks so much for the incredible hospitality. Relax, adventure, and enjoy yourself at the Suwannee River Rest Lodge!
